Just a friendly reminder that it may be Spring outside, but if you're planning to enjoy the great indoors today, there are two college football games on today.

Now, crack open those White Claws or whatever great indoorsman drink on game days, kick back and enjoy! There's still plenty of time to get the grass mowed before the evening storms hit ... isn't there?

Ahhh, crap. A Sam Houston player just made a YUGE hit on kickoff coverage and paid the price. They just cut to commercial and he is down and out cold on the field. Immediate waive-over to the medical personnel, and they have the stretcher out. Finger crossed.

Edit: They tool the player off on a stretcher; removed his facemask but left all of his other gear intact. I have no idea if it's a precautionary move, or if there's an actual spinal cord injury involved (he led with his head on the tackle and dropped like a box of rocks following the impact). If they provide an in-game injury update, I'll edit this post again.

2nd Edit: the player has feeling and is conscious in the ambulance.

FWIW, it's been a tale of two halves in this game. James Madison was on cruise control and everything went wrong for them and right for Sam Houston in the 3rd quarter. Sam Houston leads heading into the 4th.
