Yeah. Don't think he could get in the initial school he committed to, so I think we checked him out and offered him an NIL scholarship. Were we expecting this? Sorry if I’m behind the times.
This always get an audible chuckle from me
This is what Dean has been saying. Dean also said he was initially near the top of our board before he committed to WisconsinYeah. Don't think he could get in the initial school he committed to, so I think we checked him out and offered him an NIL scholarship.
Is this a real gif of Callahan? What a tool.
Yes, from a Tanners commercial if I remember correctly. Is this a real gif of Callahan? What a tool.
Oh cringe. 🤦♂️Yes, from a Tanners commercial if I remember correctly.
You keep bringing in young guys to backfill your roster. When you get them here in spring, you evaluate them on academics, community service, workouts, and spring practice. Your first cuts are the ones in their 3rd year and up if they're getting passed by younger guys. Then you look at the "OOU" mentality and cut the ones who are not passing that test. You tell them where they're at in the roster and tell them that you just don't see them playing at Nebraska; then pass them their options.I've followed recruiting and roster building for over 20 years now and I have no idea what is going on or what is gonna happen with this roster.
I've sort of given up on trying to figure it out. If anyone can explain it, I'd like to hear.
They took out the padding and it still didn't fit.Is this a real gif of Callahan? What a tool.
Prescott is expected to be an NIL aided PWO, similar to Ruggeroli. So not a counter against the 85.You keep bringing in young guys to backfill your roster. From there, you keep doing that until you make that 85 man scholarship. Prescott and Wilhite must have been very strong evaluations to bring in and force a few more cuts if necessary.
That I know. But still bringing a player on now still means you may have to cut someone to free up a spot on the depth chart.Prescott is expected to be an NIL aided PWO, similar to Ruggeroli. So not a counter against the 85.
