- Junior cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt had a first-quarter interception he returned 55 yards to the PSU 15. It was Taylor-Britt's first interception of the season and the fourth of his career (3 in 2019). The interception set up a 22-yard Husker field goal to give NU a 10-0 lead
- Taylor-Britt finished the day with 115 return yards, including 55 interception return yards, 25 punt return yards and a 35-yard return of a missed field goal in the third quarter
