We’re on the floor.
We were always going to get to a bowl in year 2 of Rhule. Ceiling was 9-3 in my opinion at the time. That said, told people to take the under at 7.5 season win total. I thought we would have ended up 7-5. Came up a game short year 2. I can live with that. 5-7 and no bowl game year 2 we are having a much different discussion.

I said 7-5 also.

We had a narrow gap between the floor and ceiling, 6-6 to 9-3. Before the season I thought we had two games that were sure losses, Ohio State and USC. Both actually proved to be much more winnable than I thought. But I also had us waxing UCLA, didn't happen. Looking at my preseason prediction, I just needed to flip Illinois and Purdue, and I got UCLA wrong.

Game-by-game season prediction:
UTEP: W
CU: W
UNI: W
Illinois: W
@Purdoodoo: L
Buttgers: W
@Indianus: L
@tOSU: L
UCLAbia: W
@USC: L
WiscyDicks: W

The past two years in the pre season picks thread I’ve picked the lowest total in the OP and been one game too high both times. Last year I picked 6-6 and this year 7-5. The most pessimistic wasn’t pessimistic enough. Next year, I’m going to subtract one from where I think we’ll land.

Honestly I kept telling friends I was going 6-6 and anything above that was gravy. I really thought 7-5 but too many unknowns like a freshman qb. Then teams like Indiana turned out to be better than expected.

Why not just guess 12-0 and help us all out brother?
