Is there anything to be positive about?

Gifford: Looks like we have a serviceable player here if he continues to develop on his current trajectory. Some of you know better than me, should he just straight up be playing safety in obvious run defense situations?

Castaneda: Baller. The fumble wasn't a fumble IMO. I think we found a darn good college WR. That opening TD was sweet.

Newsome & Hill: These dudes seem to be as advertised. Imagine if we generated any semblance of a pass rush to help them.

Buschini: At least our punter is good.

Thompson: Looked very good until Frost went wild and threw the whole team off with that onside fiasco.

Grant: Dude looks solid. Basically the only RB that showed anything. Gotta find a way to get him some running room. Yant looked dismal so I'm not sure Grant even has any real competition at this point.

Mathis: No pass rush to speak of but the guy played something like 30 or so snaps and had 10 tackles so effort isn't a problem. 10 tackles is a hell of a debut.

The disappointing thing I am noticing is that the majority of my positives are transfers. That is FUCKING SAD and is on Frost. All the dudes I mentioned are more than likely to return and be available for the next coach, so that is something to be happy about, right?

Just think if it was before the transfer rule. We would be so fucked. J/k. We would win about the same amount either way. We never fixed either line where it matters in the BIG.

I'd add in 1 more transfer: WR Palmer. Liked what I saw. Palmer, Washinton & Castenada look the part of a solid B1G WR crew. If we are able to tap into even 60% of Mannings potential then that is a good rotation.
