Pretty evident that NU's season depends on Riola's ability to improve Corcoran and Benhart's line play. Finding suitable C, RG options are a must right now.

Another interesting nugget:

QB B:

QB A is Adrian Martinez's 2021 Season Grades
QB B is Casey Thompson's 2021 Season Grades

Draw your own conclusions, but I don't anticipate the QB position being the reason we get over the hump - rather a "talent boost" as Coach Mickey said yesterday in the WR room and improved line play being the reason.

Don’t sleep on Purdy making all these comp charts of AM and CT irrelevant

All joking aside, if Riola + Chin and Co. coach at an “A” grade level this year we will win 8+ games with this schedule.

We almost won 10 games last year with almost everybody on offense (including the HC) shitting the bed.

If the OL starts playing at average to above average level then we can beat the shitter teams on our schedule despite nearly everything else on that side of the ball being retarded.

O-line will obviously be fine.

LT is Teddy P, our most talented lineman who has some starting experience.
LG is Turner C, our 2nd most talented lineman who has a year of starting experience.
C is Hixson, a 6th year guy who has a year of starting experience.
RG is Broc B, a 6th year guy
RT is Benhart, a 4th year guy with 2 years of starting experience

O-line will be faster and more aggressive under Rioala

We win 10 games easy

no cap

Bando and Hixson starting would scare me more than my already scared perception of the oline.

If this is our starting OL, I'll puke...

So the guy they brought in to land his stud nephew, who committed elsewhere anyways, is the guy the season depends on? We fooked boys

PFF continues to offer a worthless series of analytical garbage when used to evaluate personnel in college football.

Casey Thompson has thrown 9 career interceptions in 290 career pass attempts. He has zero fumbles in those 290 drop backs, 0 fumbles in over 500 career snaps, and 0 fumbles in 62 career carries.

Adrian Martinez leads all active NCAA players in fumbles lost and interceptions.

Any metric spewing out data which shows Casey Thompson is more likely to commit a turnover than Adrian Martinez is completely useless.
