Been a minute since I was a forum admin, but that captures the number of distinct people who have viewed a page on the forum within the last (x amount) of time. You can typically adjust how long that period of time is, and admins here probably have it set to a longer period of time if it's that many people.

Guests are views from people not signed into an account. Robots would be your web crawlers for search engines & data miners, etc.

It's set to the xenforo standard one hour. I have no idea why there's sometimes thousands of "guests" online. We added an addon that was supposed to break it down into robots and real people but there's no way that is accurate
