OK boys… Here’s a good object lesson of what a 300 win mag does to a pig skull at 200+ yards.
I tossed the skinned skull in a mesh aluminum bag (didn’t want to lose teeth or any small bone fragments) and buried it. It was mostly intact when I buried (it still had a mouthful of barely). Small entry wound on one side, larger exit wound on the other, but overall still a full skull.

Well, I buried it in that mess bag, and let the little carnivorous critters do their job for seven months, disposing of all the connective tissue.
A 300 Winchester magnum is a devastating weapon…this was what I ended up with…an upper jaw, lower jaw, and a literally hundreds of skull fragments. 😂

Also, I wouldn’t choose to tangle with a wild pig…
