Had 3 straight 800 plus receiving yards that could have been useful over the last two years. No Nebraska receiver is on place for 800 yards this year.

We lost with him I'm assuming we'd continue to lose with him if he'd stayed.

To be honest I think he would have helped us the most in kick return.

Same with DPE returning punts.

Huge losses cuz they were good BUT our current return game is so awful.

I’d say he is 3rd on the list of recent short WRs that aren’t NFL (or big time CFB program) caliber.

We’ll never know either way.

Yeah I mean we kind of do. Every week has a "what if" moment or two. We'll never know if Martinez doesn't fumble whether we win against Michigan. Maybe Michigan St would have driven the field and scored if the punt went out of bounds.

What we do know is that we lost when Spielman was on the team. He barely played at TCU. My bet is we lose with Spielman those 2 years.

That's a good question. I'd probably put him right between DPE and Wandale.

I don’t even consider Westerkamp to be the same type of WR as those 3.

He is 3 or 4 inches taller than those guys. (actual height)

He is much slower and way less explosive.

He has better hands than the 3 of them combined. (Exaggeration but you get my point)

He is a much better blocker.



Basically I’m saying that boy White. But I’d take him on this team right now in a heartbeat. He can also return punts.

Sure but again, better than what we’ve got?

-slow white guys that I can’t keep track of certainly haven’t impressed

But would love it if he and Wandale were still here

having them run those under routes or run the ball ~5 times a game = offense is legit and I bet we would be 5-3 or 6-2 right now just from having those 2 guys
