What they conveniently leave out is there’s no longer a free board. I tried that shit and it gave me access to nothing, unless I subscribed. Maybe I did something wrong? Nevertheless, I’m not subscribing to Deab’s site.

1) There's going to be a free board, it might not be working as free yet.
2) Not a single dime goes to Deab by subscribing to the on3 Inside Nebraska board. They just use the same software now, that's it. (which sucks because it's trash)

HuskerOnline is Dean's site, which is part of the On3 network. He makes money from HOL.
He would not make money from someone subscribing to InsideNebraska, even though it is now also in the On3 network.

But that site is only getting revenue from members of their particular website (not counting ad views). So really the only difference between the two is which message board you get to post on, right? That's really the only reason why you would subscribe to one site over the other, right?

Agreed. It is set up like these are any two boards on On 3 - you can read everything on every member board, you just can't post anywhere except where you subscribe.

The late great Mike Mayta used to warn me all the time for posting from twitter from the other sites. Dean used to get so mad because I would scoop him all the time posting info from twitter before his lazy ass would type out an article.

Wouldn’t both respective sites still receive ad money from articles they post that you have to click on. Which is the reason you have to click through 3 different links to get to an article on Deans site every time, so he can get that sweet sweet ad revenue.

You can only post on the website you remember to. So if you remember here, this is your home board that you can post on. But you can read every other message board still
