So the “Abigail Wexner” referenced in one those posts is a Trustee at OSU and I think the reason for Urban getting suspended/forced out at OSU after the Zach Smith stuff.

I think the difference between Harbaugh/Urban & Day is they build it from the ground up. Tebow could air it out but he was always a threat to run it then u had Zeke & Carlos Hyde, solid backs that did the same work Michigan is doing. Day is pocket QB with high-low concepts that is missing a rare athlete like Fields

Day doesn’t really believe in the DT QB…he just happened to have a great one in Fields, who ran sparingly. Urban was much more a fan of the running QB.

Most of Urban’s qbs couldn’t throw at a high enough level to win it all while at OSU. I think there is a happy medium. The ironic thing is when Urb did win a Natty a drop back passer was took the reigns after his running qb went down.

Today tOSU fans are complaining about the man coverage but they had no choice. They tried some zone in the 3rd & got burned for 7-8 minutes of ground & pound. Cardale Jones was a pocket passer but much like with Corbin or Edwards & Michigan’s OL, no one could stop tOSU’s line & Zeke from getting 7 yards a pop with home runs so cardale just had to throw bombs to nfl WRs in one on one coverage

Cardale was a better compliment than Barrett because he opened up the passing game over the top and stretched the field which in turn helped the running game. Barrett was more dink and dunk. OSU was a different team with Cardale’s spark that season.
