Matya always had it out for me more than Dean. Funny, Mike would ban me and Dean would usually let me back through PM’s and tell me to cool it. I think Dean is so motivated by the money aspect he hates losing a $10 subscription. He will generally let anyone back if it means keeping a sub.

I had the opposite experience. Matya was always pretty cool with me. Giving me heads up when Dean was extra testy, or asking me to tone it down.

I haven't been banned at On3, but I was banned for quite some time on Rivals by Mike Mataya because I posted a long diatribe about how we shouldn't have hired Mike Anderson as our baseball coach, how the players didn't like or respect him, and how he was going to run the program into the ground once DVH's recruits were gone... Nevermind the fact that I was right, what made it even more laughable was that I was their baseball insider/writer at the time...

Same as it is now. I started writing for them when DVH was hired. I had an in with him through a friend of mine that was an old scout and who pushed Komine to Nebraska... Helped Kendall Rogers out a bit when he first got started. Great guy as well.

Never got banned, but got in a few arguments with him when I knew he was wrong.

Deab wouldn't be hated as much if he just owned up to his mistakes and was more transparent .. A simple " I can't disclose this information" would go a long way rather than lying to get subscribers .. He deserves all the shit that he gets and then some ..

Dean and I went after each other on Rivals when I outed Josh Peterson getting a divorce. Dean gave Josh my personal info and then Josh called out my daughter who was a co-worker with Josh's soon to be ex-wife. Dean was the only source Josh could have gotten my personal info. I didn't get banned for that though.

I joined On3 for $1 and on the first game day (Northwestern) I posted a poll asking what people thought of On3's game day coverage (Dean was still not able to post yet). My options were:

• Horrible
• Below Average
• Average
• Above Average
• Great

The post got zapped and I got permanently banned. I immediately signed up again for $1 with a different username and posted a thread inquiring why the poll got deleted. That post disappeared and I got IP or credit card banned immediately.

I threatened On3 to take them to small claims court for my $2 and got a refund!!

Funny thing about it is, we got tired of it and had Mike(RIP) contact Rivals to IP ban all of the porn spammers. Well, when they got IP banned, it would ban any Rivals account associated with that IP and they could also no longer post on the Cockeye board. So, one day, the people who ran the Cockeye board contacted Mike(RIP) to see if he could lift the IP ban because he took out about 20 of their Cockeye board posters. Then, people figured out they could use a VPN and hide their IP's, but it finally went away after a while. They would do it in the middle of the night and I would wake up in the morning and there would be 10 or 15 threads with gay porn.
