You guys can joke all you want but if this wasn’t a short week and Malachi had time to ice his labia this would be a revenge game of the century

I was worried about this game before the season. We'll still probably play like shit with it being there and a short rest and make it closer than it should be but I don't think we lose. Minnesota is pretty bad.

I was and still am worried about this game.

Other than it being on the road and a short week, we should clearly be looked at as the favorite.

They’re not the Minnesota team we’re used to. We’re not the Nebraska team they’re used to.

Pretty much lines up for a nice road win…..which is what makes me nervous.

We’ll find a way to keep it closer than it should be, but beat the Ketchup and Mustard colored retard 28-25.

We're Nebraska fans. We'll take a lot of healing before we're heading into games 100% confident we'll win even when we should clearly win.

My nervousness isn't zero. Just lower than it's been in previous years going into the same situation.

Don’t disagree at all.

We’ve got some serious PTSD that started with Callahan, was given a brief reprieve for anything but meaningful games in the Pelini era, and has been pretty much a hot mess through Riley, Frost and Rhule’s first two years to be sure.

As you mentioned, this isn’t the same kind of team we’ve fielded for most of those post Penlini years, but sphincter muscle memory kicks in, like it did Saturday with the pick 6. ‘Here we freaking go’.

I have to remind myself that outside of a few dominating teams Osborne fielded, he dropped the occasional clunker that ended in a close win or an upset loss as well. Funny thing about ‘teams on paper’ is they don’t actually play in the games.

I like our chances Friday night. But like you said, I’m not at ‘zero nervousness’ just yet. With the current configuration of the B1G, there might not be many conference games that’s even a practical goal for me.
