I think Vrabel would be a hell if a hire and would get them over the humpI think it all depends on if their top 2-3 guys will take it. I assume Vrabel is their top guy.
I don't think Vrabel is interested in being a college coach. They should go after #2ndChoice.I think it all depends on if their top 2-3 guys will take it. I assume Vrabel is their top guy.
Very tough coach to follow. Saban may be the best ever. Was going to be a drop off. It’s as bad as following TO.Just like Bama
Any chance Meyer would come back to right the ship?I think it all depends on if their top 2-3 guys will take it. I assume Vrabel is their top guy.

I thought about him, but they didn’t end on the best of terms but beating Michigan is very importantAny chance Meyer would come back to right the ship?
#2ndChoice could be a hard sell at this point even though he would probably be fine there.I don't think Vrabel is interested in being a college coach. They should go after #2ndChoice.
I think Dabo not getting with the times is doing it too. He doesn’t want to play the NIL and portal game.Clemson needs to get out of the ACC or they're going to dwindle away.
I think he says that because he knows he can't compete with the P2 money. Makes it sound like a moral stance.I think Dabo not getting with the times is doing it too. He doesn’t want to play the NIL and portal game.
Could be but I was never a believer he would stay on top his whole career the way he was recruiting. He got lucky with two elite college qbs in a row and it hurt a lot when guys like Morris, Elliot, and Venerables left plus he whiffed on some assistants he promoted from withinI think he says that because he knows he can't compete with the P2 money. Venebles was big for sure.Could be but I was never a believer he would stay on top his whole career the way he was recruiting. He got lucky with two elite college qbs in a row and it hurt a lot when guys like Morris and Venerables left plus he whiffed on some assistants he promoted from within
Other than missing on a couple of guys that cost a lot more money.Venebles was big for sure.
2018-2023 were all top 10 classes. A 2 and 6 in there. Hasn't been anything wrong with the recruiting.
They were quality classes but not Ohio State, Bama, and Georgia type classes on paper. I would equate Clemson to Michigan type classes which is still very good. For a while he was on par with Bama having the top program in the country. He had good continuity with assistants who could develop well and like with any good program, he got raided, and he replaced them with inferior coaches. I still think what Saban did was the craziest thing since he would replace assistants all the time and never have a major letdown.Venebles was big for sure.

Has to be it bc him and Clemson have been paying big money to recruits for decades now.I think he says that because he knows he can't compete with the P2 money. Makes it sound like a moral stance.
