Walsh strikes out lookin

Buttgers has a chance to win it in the 10th

Hey Childress, you have 2 LH arms in the bullpen that you trust in high leverage spots. That's it! Maybe next time, don't pull Worthley with a LHH on deck when he continues to prove to get both sides of the plate outs. Like he did the inning prior. Both times with a 6-2 lead.

And if that ain't good enough for ya, it makes even less sense to keep Borst in while struggling.

This game should be over. Fucking comical.

Is this why Childress never won a title at A&M

A top 8-10, maybe higher, pitching coach in the country and we're no different than we were in 2023. Brett Sears being superman is the only difference. And without him, it's worse.

Struggling to find a 3rd starter. Weekday starter issues. Inconsistent bullpen.

We just blew a 6-2 lead late in the game against a team that has lost 5 of 6. Swept by Purdoodoo. And they've struggled to score on the weekend. This sucks.

We're in good hands with Rob long term but man it's frustrating watching his decisions. Ok, rant over. Salvage the weekend with 2 wins. (Please, ha!)

I don't know. Rob was very successful at aTm. But DVH hasn't won one either, with arguably more talent and more years as a Head Coach. Natty's are hard.

Heck, Bianco was basically fired in 2022; 32-21, bounced in the SEC tournament play-in game then got a gift from the NCAA as the last (or 2nd to last?) team in, they then rattled off a 10-1 record to with it all in Omaha.

I'm just frustrated and vented.

6 runs should win you any game that Brett Sears starts, but we still strike out comically too much in leverage situations it seems.
