Is the matchup thing that important in college baseball?

Taking a pitcher out of the game who is pitching fine and replacing him for matchup purposes just seems siily

It seems like it is to Rob. My concern is, we have only 2 LHP's he trusts (Worthley & Perry) and it's playing with fire. He's easily a top 10 pitching coach though so it's crazy to even think about questioning him but damn.

We play 20-4 Pickle Smoochers next

They can swing it. 39 RPI with a 12-2 Q4 record.

Predicted RPI from WN. 43-14 on the year

I’d take that

WN predicted results are garbage. They will change 20-30 times a day. Even on off days for everyone. Literally.

Top 12 RPI. #27 non-conference SOS, which is 35 spots better than Kansas State, who the prick had ranked 6 days ago.

Currently #11 RPI overall, #10 RPI non-conference with an overall #40 SOS. Last week he said weekdays don't matter in his rankings, weekends do. Keep that in mind as the season goes on, hell flip flop like he always does.

Kendall is an attention whore loser. He'd be out of business with 18 months if someone else decided to put a serious effort in covering college baseball.

When teams’ current RPI rankings are calculated, does It include teams on the schedule that we have yet to play? Or does it count just the teams we have played so far? Either way Kendall’s take of our “Not exactly toughest schedule” doesn’t hold much argument if we are at 11 right now and if we have a #27 ranked non conference SoS. Did he just look at our schedule and say hey they’ve only played two P5 teams so far (before this weekend) and assume that without looking at rank?

It only counts the teams you’ve played so far. Kendall hasn’t made a single intelligible comment about Nebraska yet this season. It’s really best to just accept that confirmation bias will likely always have them picking apart this team’s resume regardless of how well they play.
