Horn or McConaughey would be my guess (with Christo...I think he's a lock) but I'd love to see Timmerman... He might be too valuable out of the pen tho.

I think Christo is a foregone conclusion to take 1 spot. Right? Unknown on the other as not many built up prior to the season. Purely a guess but between Brockett & Horn for the other spot.

What’s up with Walsh and Clark? Walsh kicked ass at the end of last year and Clark didn’t seem too terrible in his outings this year.

Walsh had 1 kick ass outing last year and it was Michigan State in the B1Gt. He had a choice after the 2023 season. Keep messing around with 2way or focus on pitching. He chose the mess around part. It's difficult to pitch at this level, especially as a weekend starter, with velo between 85-88 & only 2 pitches; FB & CH. He's better suited long term as a midweek starter and a weekend match-up.
Clark just isn't good enough. Yet. His FB is flat, he's afraid to compete against another team. He's had 7 starts in his young career and has made it past the 4th inning just 1 time. That's bad. Give him the ball during the week and see if he can get the mental side figured out. Similar to Walsh, he's a weekend match-up from the bullpen and a weekday starter. For now.
We have to give someone else a chance on Sunday's. With our bullpen structure, all we need is 5 innings on Sunday and anything after that is gravy. Otherwise, it's going to hurt us during weekday games.

Very interested to watch Horn start. I think he’s one of the better freshman we’ve had.
The dude LOVES his fastball and has supreme confidence in that pitch.

Jesske played 2nd on Sunday. He looked very raw at that position. Our radio guys said he was learning the position which doesn't give me much confidence about our other guys.
