With the amount of high level baseball talent in Nebraska high schools, there is zero excuse to not be in the top 3 of this conference every year.

The idea that you’re somehow smarter than everyone else because your expectations are low is weird.

Again, .500 by conference play and this team should be alright. Getting swept on the west coast isn’t the end of the world. But we do need a lot of things to get better in short order.

High level baseball talent in state? There ls a dude or two a year…not enough to field a competitive team year in and head out.
Just because Nebraska settles for an instate kid doesn’t make him good or great.

I don't think you know how many really good kids have left the state the past decade.
