I think the NIL part is the true game changer for us. We always had the means to pay quite a bit for a coach if we really wanted to.

I saw more than one post when Frost was hired calling him the prodigal son and the coach of destiny - with 100% sincerity - so maybe as a fan base we should accept our limitations on the ability to project these things, shut the fuck up and just see where it goes.

That would be a significant improvement over the last 8 years or so.

He made Cockeye State a lot better. There’s nothing about Saban’s record at MSU that indicates he was going to be the greatest ever.

Not saying Campbell is Saban, just saying that projecting coaches is hard and the next guy deserves the benefit of the doubt even if he didn’t play or coach under Osborne
