3 games against 4th place Illinois
3 games against 10th place Michigan State

Purdue is in 9th and has:
2 games against 3rd place Cockeye
3 games against 6th place Northwestern
3 games against 2nd place Maryland

Michigan State in 10th has:
3 games against 7th place Penn St.
3 games against 3rd place Cockeye
1 game against 5th place Michigan
3 games against 8th place Nebraska

With those schedules there is zero reason to not make the tourney.

I'm too lazy to do the math, but I'd imagine sweeping Minnesota and Michigan State while taking 1 of 3 against Illinois would be more than enough to lock that up. Pretty reasonable really.

I have absolutely no confidence in this team's ability to play with any offensive consistency at all, but the schedule certainly helps...feel like if they just win the Minn and MSU series and take one from Illinois, that should be enough hopefully maybe probably but maybe not idk.

Tyler Martin no longer with Nebraska baseball team

A thin Nebraska pitching staff will be even thinner for the home stretch of the season. Senior left-hander Tyler Martin is no longer with the team because of a violation

Tyler Martin was dismissed for violation of team rules on Monday. The way this team has played raised red flags right away. Obvious leadership issues on this team. Have had culture issues since the start of the season and they remain. Won't surprise me if you see some turnover this offseason to get rid of character issues. Anyone remember when the last time two guys who contributed were kicked off mid-season?
