My oldest daughter tried out for cheer her freshman year, didn’t make it BUT, they do not get scholarships, as far as 5 years ago. They do get a stipend for tanning, hair, makeup…you know the essentials

And it’s a huge time commitment. My youngest was right there and after working through all the details, decided it was a no.
