Was thinking this morning about away travel games and how we miss Northwestern this year. Then I recalled they are playing games at their practice facility. Looked into it and they’ve converted it into a 15000 seat tin ice box!

Usually like going to that away game but think I would have passed if we had played them in October or November..

That’s going to be an amazing place to watch a game.

The 35,000 makes sense. They have longed been the team that hosts more away fans than home fans being in Chicago and not well followed. Reduce the number of fans to where you are still hitting your home fan capacity, reduce away fans in the stadium, and create a smaller and more intimate environment for experience.

This doesn't seem right. I guess it depends on how they define "best." Beacuse Michigan Stadium surely has thousands of seats closer than 78 yards from the field. Are they measuring from a luxury box?

I believe it’s going to be like a lot of the new soccer stadiums overseas where the seats have a much greater slope so you are right on top of the action.
