It’s not like Mario did much recruiting either. Mullen would replace him as QB coach and be OC.

His only recruiting job would be to work with Frost to get the best possible portal QB to Lincoln. After that, just coach and call the offense. In this hypothetical scenario there’s no way he’s here more than a year or two anyway.
