For what it’s worth I think this whole thing is going to f**k the college landscape. No conspiracies here...the world is legitimately going to hell in a hand basket....and fast.

however, it is what it is, so anyone who has insights into how this works should start a fund to sponsor some blue collar NE kid who can make it into regular rotation.

I was spitballing with @Drue629 yesterday and I think a good idea we had was to give them like half of the membership dues for members that they get signed up. Something like that. I'm not sure how it would all work out.

You could almost set it up so if someone signs up through a portal on their Instagram that they get X% of the monthly dues, but make it a higher percentage if they get them to sign up for a yearly sub.

Kind of. My thoughts are to do a little promotion deal. He comes by the office for a bit, snap a picture and post it on social media. He says that anyone who calls in that schedules an appointment with us and mentions his name is entered in to win a free autograph.

He gets some cash, we get some publicity that we can actually track and see how effective it was.

I personally reached out and offered a player a “deal”. I started a company in May in which I sell hunting products. I don’t have cash to offer but did offer whatever he wanted at cost to he or his family. Best I can do right now. We didn’t discuss terms but I would have asked him to be a face for my business and rep it. He was thankful and would keep in touch. I assumed being a young ball player that he probably doesn’t have a lot of money to throw around so it probably wasn’t very appealing to him. He handled it kindly tho which was cool.
