I get easing a rookie into their first nfl game but the way the Lions used (or didn't use) Gibbs was puzzling.
David Montgomery rocking with his signature 3 yards a carry. Gibbs was almost twice productive with his touches yet he the split of RB touches was 70/30 favoring Montgomery.
Weird because they played rookies all over the damn place all night so doesn't seem like they are afraid to play their young guys

Also. By proxy of how much talent they have around him, Detroit could be a contender even with Goff.
But they are one elite QB away from being a fucking powerhouse. They got it all, good WR's, good backfield situation, good o line, stud young TE, talent at all 3 levels on defense.
