This is like 6th hand information, but it still made me laugh/pissed that people actually believe this and want it to happen.

Rumor that was just sent to me was that Frost will sign a 3-year extension after the season. Apparently no top tier coach is interested, so Turd wants to invest in the longevity of Frost. Scott will have to make staff changes, but they believe he is on the right track with establishing the right kind culture. Taking a transfer QB will also be a must to, at a minimum, push Adrian (if he does decide to stick around).

In no way do I believe this rumor, but I just had it sent to me, and I thought I'd share.

I’ve been reading idiotic comments on how we probably have zero interest from coaches & these idiots believe we’re 3-9 cuz you can’t recruit to Nebraska. Same dumbasses who laughed at the rumors of Hoiberg to Nebraska cuz the UCLA job was open.

It was done here for 40 years. Yes, CF has changed, but if you can win in some of these other god forsaken locations, you can win in Lincoln.

I’m not looking at this roster and thinking that we aren’t talented enough to win a lot of games. Matter of fact, the talent on this team is one of the reasons against keeping the current staff. This team has top 20 talent on it and should be in the top 25 minimum.

If anyone got done watching any of our games and said we lost because we weren’t talented enough to win theyre an idiot. Saturday is the only game I think it’ll be evident that we don’t have the horses to win the game.

I get triggered bad when anyone says that you can’t recruit here. They should just say “I’m stupid” and save everyone the time. This staff hasn’t had a winning season and they haven’t failed to recruit talent that puts us on par with Michigan and Penn St and I’m saying that with a straight face.

Not a chance this is true. But we are going to hear much more wild rumors the next 3 weeks. This will end up being a mild one.

If we make a move, we will have to make a splash or I see zero reason to make a move. I can’t be convinced that we should light 22 million on fire so that we can go hire some dude you have to Google or convince yourself will be good. It can get worse.

Rumor didn't even come from my buddy - he just texted me a screen shot of a text from his brother...who he says has decent connections.
