New OL/RB/WR coaches

I thought about posting this in the sticky “Assistant” thread but that’s become pretty bloated and off-topic and seems to focus mostly on the OC so I figured I’d start a new thread.

We know that whoever the new OC will have a major say in who we hire to fill these position coach openings. However, I would imagine Frost will have input as well and likely has some names in mind. To those here more in the know than I, are there any coaches we’ve reached out to to gauge interest in these openings?

some of our fans Incestual love affair with hiring only people with ties to the program is quite concerning, and disturbing. They are more concerned with employing people that are like them than winning games. Hire the best coaches possible, seems pretty simple. I can give a rats ass if the coach use to play at Nebraska, give me the best coach. I think the players and fans deserve to have the best coaches. I know many of our fanbase will discriminate against a coach if they don't have ties to Nebraska.

I would assume Frost will try to hire the best coaches with his job on the line and since he has a pretty good budget to work with.

Moos pretty much gave him an Open Check Book to hire Asst Coaches. He spent that on his staff at UCF, and gave them big raises to coach in the B1G. Lets hope he gets the best coaches we can afford and not just coaches that are friends or have ties to Nebraska. None of us really know but you would think his job has to be on the line next season.

At that time I think Frost believed those coaches were very good coaches. He got humbled in the BIG where there are very good coaches throughout the conference. I think he probably learned his lesson. If he didn’t he is dumber than I thought. Even if he hires quality coaches I don’t know if it will work because you’re asking for a quick fix. Time will tell.

I have no clue. Just know this guy just resigned at EWU so he’s available and he’s coached some good offense.

Frost won't be QB coach. The OC will likely be the QB coach.

The only way you'll get a QB coach is if the OC coaches WRs or something.

Peetz at OC would line up with another name I’ve heard for one of the other spots that I feel pretty good about the info but I haven’t specifically heard Peetz as OC. That’s assuming you believe Frost is letting the OC make the other hires which I don’t necessarily buy
