New Coordinators Press Conference

While there theoretically might be an advantage to exploit by forgoing the huddle, I’ll be damned if I ever saw Nebraska have any success in doing it under Frost.

Generally, we would come to the line, look at the sideline for 15-20 seconds while somebody figured out what play to call, and then throw an incompletion, leading to a 45 second offensive possession.

So huddling sounds pretty good.

I'm pretty agnostic on it. Sure there are times when you go fast that you can wear a defense down or get them in shitty personnel for a run of plays, but the cost of that speed especially if you're not particularly efficient on offense is that you fuck your defense over bigly.

But huddle, don't huddle, I don't really care because the big thing for me is whether you can produce big plays and control the ball when you need to

I like touchdown plays.
We need to start running those more often. But if we start running plays that work and stop running fumble plays, then the touchdown plays should follow.

What about interception plays? Could be a good play with a bad throw.
