I always thought the Defense should get Blackshirt stickers on their helmets for good plays, academic achievements etc.... Similar to how Georgia has bones, Ohio State, Clemson etc....

I think skull and cross bones would look cool on helmets.

I know we can't change it now...but the new one just doesn't catch the eye like the old one that looks like a graphic arts student drew it while stoned out of his mind b/c it isn't pleasing but as other ITT have said, it's got the piratey, something just not right with it vibe that is appealing and not appealing at the same time.
