“I may have lost an FCS game because I was out-coached, but I’m coming. I may have declared myself a winner in the post game even though I lost my last game, I’m coming. I had one of the largest talent gaps you’ll ever see at the HBCU level and still lost our national championship, but I’m coming. I was fake crying today, and I’ll be real crying in Boulder, I’m coming. When I get to Boulder and see all those rich little blonde college girls, I’m cummin”

If anyone watched that game, a few things seemed obvious.
1. Shadeur does not have a strong arm at all. He needs to get much better to be successful at P5 level.
2. Hunter is talented, but a year playing with and against a lot of guys that wouldn’t be on the roster of most P5 schools makes it tough to develop as much as you would otherwise.
3. Yes, there is a significant talent gap between those teams and even average P5.
4. Nearly every aspect of that game was bad. From officiating to coaching to the dude running the clock was just awful. It was shocking at times.

No idea if it would ever come into question... but it would be interesting to see if it came to it, would he bench his own son?

CU gets a sugar high with the Deion brand and it may jumpstart recruiting for them, but how that translates to a successful, sustainable program is TBD. Even if he won the national title at his level this season, I still question his success with a jump to D1/P5.

He's coming in hot with his Deion persona and I'd like to see how he leads when they are getting blown out next season.

I think its going to spectacularly fail.
I think the move was dumb for Deion because the fan support and NIL are garbage. If he does well at CU, he will get his shot at a big time southern school for sure.

If I were a Colorado fan I’d be having uncomfortable flashbacks to the Dan/Cody Hawkins era.
My second favorite away CU game, after watching all the students get ejected that one time, was the year they announced the Hawk will be back before the game and the CU fans in front of us were shitting on CU harder than Nebraska
