This is a pretty complete team. You would have to go back to Nee’s teams in the 90s to find a team this good. There’s probably 5-6 guys who could score 20 on a given night & there’s no dead weight in the 9 man rotation (& Rice is the odd man out right now along with Keita injured)

This team is legit. If they don't make the NCAA tourney I'll be very disappointed. They need to stockpile wins this non-conference. If they lose to Pickle Smoochers need to beat KSU. I think they can beat Pickle Smoochers though. Am I picking them to win? Not sure, just saying they have it in them.

Sadly we won’t beat Pickle Smoochers, it’s a bad match up 1-5 for us. We should beat KSU imo. Top half big ten and ncaa tourney should be the goal.

The only elite team in the Big10 this yr is Purdue. Cockeye also is very good. There is no one in the conference we can’t play with & beat.
Nebraska hasn’t had a team like this since the Nee years. Eli Rice would be getting minutes on over half the teams in the Big10. He’s 10th in the rotation right now. That speaks volumes what we have this yr.
Fred will continue to get these guys better as the year goes on.
I have no doubt this is an NCAA team.
This is going to be a fun ride.
Pickle Smoochers will beat us but KState won’t. We’ll go into big10 play with 1 loss & may not lose again until January after the Pickle Smoochers game.
I’ll go on record stating they will have 21 regular season wins at a minimum.

I wouldn't put our chances of beating Pickle Smoochers at 0% though. I've only seen them once this yr but I did watch the entire CU-1owa game and Pickle Smoochers didn't look that great to me. They played pretty even with Cockeye almost the entire game and 1owa is nothing special.
If Creigh plays like that I think Nebraska definitely has a shot since the game is at PBA.
But again I admit to only seeing CU once so maybe they looked better in their other games.

When was the last time a 30+ win team was left out? CheckmateI'm afraid this could be similar to the 2018–19 season. Huskers finished 4th in the B1G and was 22-11 but was left out because the B1G was "down" that year.

Counter point is that this team is already on the national radar where that team got hot late.
