they are hanging tough. Griesel is off to a great start, but they need more guys to step. Its the same story every game...one guy does all the scoring early while nobody else does much.
tough to compete 40 minutes with a deep team like Illinois when you only have 8-9 scholarship players available. Illinois is a tough match up with all of their size and depth. Starting 3 freshman, and 1 is a Walk On. I thought we gave them a heck of a game. Kids played hard.

Agreed. I wish Walker knew how to stay out of foul trouble better. Illinois is a tough matchup for NU and they played hard, but a loss is still a loss, but you cannot question the effort.
Hopefully they can steal 1-2 more wins this year. NU got dealt a bad hand with injuries.

I do agree with you on Walker, although he does get his fair share of garbage called on him. Imagine if he got the calls TJD at Indiana does or even half of Edey’s.
I think Purdue has MADE like 150+ more free throws than their competition. Absurd stat.
