So, We’re 20-0 and probably playing our best ball of the season. My question is… How shitty would we have to play to get beat by 10 plus pts right now? Nobody else has come even close to beating us by double digits, much less beating us by any margin. Why would Tuesday be any different? I mean, I can see us losing this game, it’s at Michigan and they’re really good. But tell me why Michigan is gonna do what nobody else could even come close to doing? I think Nebraska plus the points is a fuckin lock. Tell me what you think…

BTW, if you bet on Nebraska based on my logic (which I may) please don’t murder me if I’m wrong. Thank you 🙏🏻

My concerns are....we haven't faced a lot of teams with a bunch of athletic dudes that jump out of the gym. MSU has a few of these guys but Michigan has more. And they're more skilled than a guy like Coen Carr is.

We seem to match up better with Illinois, who has a bunch of eastern European guys who have similar athletic ability to our bigs.

Michigan is just a bad, bad physical matchup for us. We can win but it would be unlikely. I don't know what to do with that spread but I don't see Nebraska winning.

Frager is the one guy we have with jump-out-of-the-gym athletic ability and he won't even be there. Just a bad matchup. Very bad.

Great teams get run out opposing gyms all the time. Its not unusual.

Fwiw though, I do think both Nebraska and Michigan's metrics are a bit "out of whack." The Wolverines have been riding the coattails of their November and December ass kickings for a few months now.

On the contrary, Nebraska has been downgraded a bit because they struggled vs the likes of USC-Upstate, Maryland - Eastern Shore, Winthrop, and North Dakota.

Spread should probably be closer.

I am just enjoying this season 1 game at a time. Riding the highs and lows of fandom, but at the end just appreciating how good this team really is. We just curb stomped Minnesota with Frager out and Mast being on a milk carton. I hope we click at get at least 1 of the next 2.

What is Nebraska’s record over these next 3 games?
0-3
1-2
2-1
3-0

If they win 2 out of 3 I think the fraud accusations will go away.

1-2 maybe.

0-3 they’ll be called frauds. Im
Not saying that’s correct, but that’s how the internet works.

Do you mean next 4 games? They also play Rutgers in between Illinois and Purdue. I think they go 3-1 in those 4. I think they finish the season at 29-3 or 30-2. Probably drop one at Cockeye and likely split vs USC and UCLA.

I think we downgrade the athleticism of teams Nebraska beats after they beat them. And also Nebraska played AJ Dybantsa right before the season, who had a great game but he's like the upper echelon of dudes you can expect to run into athletically who are nightmares

Michigan is an incredible team, but they haven’t had that same dominant vibe since the January 6 Penn State game, which they just as easily could’ve lost.

I think people still assume Michigan is playing at the same level they showed in Vegas, when they dominated SDSU, Auburn, and Gonzaga in succession. But that was back in November and they haven't really matched that level since.

Ohio State hung with Michigan in that Friday night game until the final five minutes. I would expect the Huskers to stay in the game as well.

I'll go with 2-2 in that 4 game stretch, and then we finish the season with MAYBE dropping one more. Not afraid of USC or UCLA, if we push all three Mich/Purdue/Illinois.

I think you are overvaluing Frager's athleticism. His length makes him look more athletic than he really is. He's been challenged and rejected at the rim a few times because he doesn't elevate great. Don't get me wrong, I think he's athletic, but I've seen comparisons to Braun from KU a few years ago, and that kid was significantly more athletic.

A win vs. Michigan could change the team's confidence and success "ceiling" of the entire season. Beat Michigan and we could go 4-0.

We lose vs. Michigan, it might be 2-2 or 3-1...but more likely 3-1. I'd like that this team would think their backs are against the wall with a loss at Michigan. They won't like that feeling if they lose and will channel it to prove people wrong vs. Illinois and Purdue, etc.

Realistic take that wouldn't be a terrible outcome - all things considered. See my post just above.
