IDK, but I bet we’re top 10 nationally. We don’t give up many transition points period. @...TrueColors... was 💯 correct that Fred would, in most cases, rather have our backcourt guys get back on defense as opposed to crashing the offense glass.

If you’re confident that you can, as a team, shoot at or around 50% from the field it makes no sense to have you backcourt players crashing the offense glass. Let your bigs pull’em down when they can, get your guards back on D to prevent transition scoring.

Add in the idea we shoot the crap out of the 3 and it makes for a lot of long rebounds and I’m not sure it would make sense for us to go balls out on the glass

Maybe I shouldn't worry about this as there is a long way to go, but we beat a Q2 team(Washington), by 10, one of our Q2 wins(Northwestern) moved up to a Q1 and we fall behind UCONN, who didn't even play a game. Make it make sense.

When being undefeated and having the most Q1 wins in all of CBB isn’t enough… It’s clear that the CBB “establishment” doesn’t like or want to believe we’re a real threat to make a run.

Now that we are blueblood maybe we can schedule Duke, Uconn, Arizona, and KU in nonconference. Apparently going 0-4 vs them is better for metrics then playing any other games. Then we can just go like 18-13 and make the tournament.

torvik rankings have nebraska at 39 for non con and 2 for conf schedule.. so maybe let the season play out a bit more before everyone freaks the fuck out about rankings and "brandings" and all the other dumb shit.

Oklahoma and Kstate sucking hind tit really hurts our non-conference SOS. Both are 1-5 and dead last in conference play. And both were projected to be top half or middle of the pack.

Yeah I think Kinish is absolutely right in the Nebraska didn't play as well in non con as they are now,

But also Oklahoma, KState, and Pickle Smoochers not being very good this year doesn't help the perception amongst voters when you are up around teams that played top 5/10 opponents in the noncon
