My eldest daughter's brother (1st wife's son from second marriage), played for Vanderbilt in basketball. Great kid, and great person. Was joking with him on facebook about how crazy this must be for him this year. He might be in mourning today .......

The queers at espn have Nebraska at 19 in BPI. Terrible teams above us include Bama, KU, TN, ISU, Louisville, Florida, SJU among others. Algo is broke, nerds !
BPI has a recruiting data metric which fits into their algorithm.
Also fwiw, Florida is not terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if they win another national title.

There is what amounts to a level of cognitive dissonance with rankings from services regarding Nebraska. If you scan the national rankings at Massey you can see this. Here is what I am talking about though, people have Nebraska ranked everywhere from 27th to 2nd. That is a much broader range than other teams in the top end of rankings.

Interestingly enough they are also probably the most athletic team outside of maybe Oklahoma we’ve played this year as well
Coen Carr is the most athletic player in the Big Ten. But if you go up and down the roster, I would argue Illinois is more athletic than Sparty.
The weird thing is the I anticipated having issues with both teams due to their athleticism and Im not sure that when we did have issues it was because of that
Interesting stat I stole from elsewhere: Illinois, Michigan St and Wisconsin are a combined 17-4 in conference games, with 3/4 losses being to Nebraska
