Haha, funny. You seem to be quite the fan of 1890. Are you associated with 1890? I'm not the only one on this board that has connections that are very worried about our current NIL program. I'm by no means an insider but do have ties to some of our deep pocketed boosters plus former players/coaches. The same boosters who gave us the Play by Play of what was going on with the hire of Rhule, and they nailed it, are expressing concerns about 1890 and the primary parties involved. Please educate us on what you know that is so great about our NIL Program because I can tell you there are numerous real Insiders on tPB board who are expressing concerns about 1890 & Matty D.

I hope to god you aren't one of those fans that actually believes the "Fluff" that $Dean feeds his subscribers. If so, then you are probably on the wrong board as this is supposed to be a "Potato Free Zone". Insiders sharing that both basketball & football players recently have had trouble getting paid what they were promised. You will probably struggle to find anyone on this board that thinks 1890 is doing a great job. Some are indifferent and others think they are doing OK but nobody has really been tooting their horn for doing a good job. From what we are hearing they might have been part of the reason why Rouse flipped to Oklahoma. I have brought up NIL concerns by boosters on numerous boards for a couple seasons about issues with ABM only to get bashed on by the Whiteknighters, yet in the end the truth came out showing ABM was scammy plus poorly run. It was hurting our program. Now hearing issues from the same boosters about the Peeds, Matty D & 1890. Tell me why we should be excited about 1890 and what they are doing that impresses you?

One can read, comprehend it and still mix up a player. When that happens, it's best to own it which I did without blinking an eye. Honest mistakes happen, unlike your continued drivel about something you couldn't be more wrong about.

Stating facts doesn't mean one supports something. And just so we're clear; I don't like Matt, I think he's bad for Nebraska and wish someone else was the public face of 1890 and he had nothing to do with anything affiliated with UNL. But, I'm not the Peeds and don't have their money. I assume you don't either otherwise you'd have an NIL instead of wrongfully bitching about it on a message board.

It does kind of give me a chuckle that over the past decade we've had all these foreign giants or athletic studs and our best center of that time has been undersized and mildly athletic Derrick Walker.

Never seen a big miss so many bunnies and miss the entire rim on baby hooks as Tshimanga did. I thought he was the dragon we were chasing.
