Instead of a trophy there should be an actual crown. And losing team's coach should have to kneel then place it on the winning coach's head. Then the new king coach gets to decide if the loser lives or dies.

I thought it’d be way more. And it’s for the current roster. It’s not like we can use it for transfers this offseason. Brice and Juwan will want all of it.

I get why current players would want to play in this, and good for them, but if the distribution is (at least in our case) almost all for players who aren't going to be back next year, what is the upside for the university? Just showing potential recruits you'll do right by them re: NIL?

I'm assuming we're just doing it for our seniors who want to play for some extra cash. If the whole team (made up mostly of seniors) wants to play and get the invite, but the university says no, how does that look?

I'm just looking at this as one last chance to watch Brice in a Husker uniform. IMO he's a top 10 player to ever play here.
