I was just going to post that tweet about Jalen Jackson. It doesn't appear that Essegian is leaving as he appears to be recruiting Jalen Jackson. And not that this really means anything, but Essegian and Frager appeared to be at most sessions during state basketball last week.

- Beaten a terrible USC team in Lincoln
- Beaten a terrible Minnesota team in Lincoln that just canned their coach
- Beaten a God Awful and 17th out 18 teams Penn State team on the road
- Beaten a terrible Cockeye team in Lincoln that just canned their coach

Huskers could be playing on CBS next week if they had just done the combination of any of the following things:

- Beaten a terrible USC team in Lincoln
- Beaten a terrible Minnesota team in Lincoln that just canned their coach
- Beaten a God Awful and 17th out 18 teams Penn State team on the road
- Beaten a terrible Cockeye team in Lincoln that just canned their coach

To make it even more peak Nebraska Basketball is it could be the final season of both tournaments. The Diamond Head Classic has already been cancelled because no blue blood basketball programs want to participate, which prompted ESPN to pull out. And I have a sneaking suspicion the Crown tournament is going to be colossal disaster for Fox and FS1.

There is a distinction to be made:

- Opening round sites have a ton of corporate money that sells out or nearly sells out venues. People not showing up is another matter entirely
- The Crown won't be selling that shit to anyone.

I think Fox is going to lose their ass on this one, and might be one and done.

Yeah. Probably some social media intern googled Colorado’s rival and we came up.

However, I Groked it and CU did play at PBA during White’s one season in a closed-door exhibition. So that’s whey he was familiar with our facilities.

I “know” Derrick, we both grew up in Parker and played against each other in high school (he’s two years younger though.) Good guy.
