OU is most likely a bottom third team in the SEC. Playing them in what will be a home environment, it should be a game we expect to win.

It’s Nebraska basketball, we’re a perennial bottom half finisher in a way worse conference..

Way worse? Really? The B1G is perennially one of the top 2 conferences and lately has probably been the best most consistently.

Yes way worse, a big 10 team hasn’t won a national championship in a quarter century.

I don’t have an explanation but the Big 10 consistently puts a lot of teams in the tourney that don’t go on deep runs or win the championship. I hate the SEC, but they’re definitely the strongest conference by a ways. They sent 14 teams in 24 & won the title last year. The ACC was also better than the big 10 until NIL came, cause all the schools are poor. The ACC still has the most championships in the past decade.

They dont go on deep runs cause b1g refs coddle them all year and they dont know how to play when they arent in free throws the whole 2H.

The ACC doesnt have those championships. They have Duke and UNC. The rest are all trash.

There is no league that has the depth the B1G has. You can't sit there and use success in the tournament as your justification for this. Great teams regularly lose games they shouldn't in the dance. Thats why its the most exciting three weekends in sports. Why the hard on for SEC, I guess idk. But its misguided.

Why the hard on for SEC

He's bought in to the media hype. And it's going to get worse now that Disney won the rights to the NCAA tournament. Just like football, they'll promote to protect their investment.

Kentucky & Florida, that's the list of SEC teams to win a national title since a B1G (Sparty) last won one.

ACC - UNC (3), Duke (3), UVA (1), Maryland (1) & Louisville (1)
Big East - UCONN (5*), Nova (2) & Syracuse (1)
B12 - Kansas (2) & Baylor (1)
SEC - UK (1), Florida (3)
B1G - Michigan State (1)

* UCONN won one as a member of the AAC.

I may be missing one, not sure.

They did win the rights. That was from a parody account

If the big 10 was so deep every year, they would win one every once in a while. 25 years is a long time.

3 final fours in the past 10 years, there’s plenty of stats that back up the Big 10 being weak. They lost the ACC Big 10 challenge like every year until NIL ruined the ACC.

We really arguing about
Conferences now? Its meaningless as of today.

This is a winnable game for the Huskers. And with OU football playing Bama today, I bet the only OU fans in attendance will be family.

The SEC has been the best league since Covid for sure but this year will be different.. both the B1G and SEC have 6 ranked teams currently

- SEC doesn’t have a team ranked in the top 7 and maybe not top 10 after this week

- #8 Bama just lost to Purdue

- #9 Kentucky just lost to Lousiville by 8 and it wasn’t that close

- #10 Florida lost to Arizona already and just barely beat unranked Florida St by 2

- #20 Tennessee looks way worse with no Lanier, Knecht, etc

- #21 Arkansas just lost to Michigan State

- #22 Auburn looks terrible with Bruce Pearl no longer at the helm

Purdue, Michigan, Illinois, Michigan State all have better squads this year than anything the SEC has to offer.

Illinois will probably be top 10 along with Purdue and Michigan after that big win over Texas Tech
