lol. That’s exactly what happened. Makes a great hands play, takes it strong to the rim, throws it off the bottom of the rim, and then it proceeds to bounce off his teammate’s leg out of bounds.

This effort on defense tonight is bull 💩 . Clearly there’s something there because this was what was going on on their losing streak. I don’t get it. It’s all effort in my eyes. We’re making the worst team in the big ten look like the 96-97 bulls

We don't have the athletes on the perimeter (playing Sam, Worster, Essegian and Goggles at guard rotation), and with Berke out, Morgan is getting exposed for his lack of athleticism and Meah is decent defensively usually, but not helping much tonight.

We have two guys who can stick with or beat their man on both sides of the court - Bryce and Juwan. And they are both gone in 5 or 6 games or so.

Offensively we have two guys that can beat their man and get their own - Bryce and Juwan. Juwan is just OK at that, but he's a net positive overall for us on the court obviously. Morgan is slow and pedantic in the paint, but can score. Essegian can really shoot, but he's too slight and not athletic enough to do much besides bomb three's, and needs a screen or 3 to get open.

Sam, Worster, Uhlis - those guys score 2 to 4 pts a game each, that's it. Don't even really have to guard them.

We aren't a very talented team. Next season without Bryce and Juwan - scary thought.

I absolutely understand why someone would be weary of betting on Nebraska, playing a Big Ten road game without Berke. But Penn State has been terrible for the last 7 weeks. I don't know how anyone could have faith betting on them.

I don’t totally disagree with the athleticism thing, but i don’t know how they beat 6 quad ones then. Penn State had the worst record in the Big Ten. Were they really that much better than Nebraska? That game wasn’t about talent imo.

The transfer portal? Obviously they’ll be going there to get guys. If they can make the tournament again, being on a tournament team and replacing a lot of scoring seems like a pretty attractive transfer destination to me, but i suppose it’s how you chose to look at it.

Dad said he thinks the flu is still hitting them pretty hard and they are gassed. My sister, brother in law, and kids (they live in Lincoln) all just had a big battle go through there house so bad that my sister who is normally very healthy actually had to spend a week in the hospital due to bacterial pneumonia that was brought on by the flu. Nephew had Bell’s palsy brought on by the flu, Brother in law had bronchitis, Niece had it easy with JUST the flu.

Fred’s taken plenty of criticism if you’ve followed these threads. But most fans recognize he’s on the brink of leading Nebraska to back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances—the first time since the Danny Nee era. Considering Nebraska’s shitty history as the worst P6 team ever, ignoring the recent success and progress he’s achieved is fucking dumb.
