It’s really not that outlandish though. Peep our team sheet, NET ranking of 49, we’re 1-5 in Q1, 3-0 in Q2 for a 4-5 record in Q1+2. Drop this to USC and we’d move to 2-2 in Q3… and I’d argue it’s a slippery slope to lose the team at that point mentally. Sure there would be “opportunity” left but if you think this team is likely to win @ Illinois and @ Oregon while holding serve in essentially every single home game remaining (which is likely what it would take) then you’re a better fan than I

you lose that, then you have 3 straight games where you will be an dog to a ranked teams, and if it goes how Vegas expects, that will be an 8 game losing streak. Tomorrow is must win
