That’s my thought as well. He’s found his “Money ball” formula and I wouldn’t ask him to change. But he’ll need some for retention of the current group of guys coming back. I would also like to see him have the resources to not miss on guys he really wants because of money. The Bynum kid from Omaha at tOSU would have been a nice piece to add.

I feel like McDermott got away from who he is as a coach this year because he was given a blank check. What id tell Fred is “Don’t change a thing. But know if you need some $$ for a guy you really want it’s here.”

Frager will get a lot of attention if he keeps this up!

Sandfort values playing for Hoiberg. He'll be taken care of, I believe at a reduced rate because of the ties. Him seeking professional ball concerns me way more than NIL.

Oogie, TBD. If he redshirts, it can very easily be just like Essegian if Fred wants him back.

Berke, unknown. Head to Europe to get paid, stay at Nebraska, or hit the portal. There aren't a lot of systems Berke can excel in. He's damn near in a perfect place in Lincoln so I lean Nebraska vs European ball.
