So, if I have been tracking this properly, we should be looking to add 1 more portal guy - Milicic or Kyle III. Correct?

Kyle is down to us and Wake Forest, while Milicic is down to us, Baylor and Tennessee. Both are great prospects and it's very refreshing to be battling these type's of schools for our players.

In other news, I saw that Saint Thomas committed to USC over the weekend. I know that his position was not a real need, but he is an absolute stud and definitely would have improved the roster....

If Fred can bring in those 2 to go along with the 6-10 Morgan then color me impressed. That might be the best set of C/PF's we've had at Nebraska with 6-10 Mast, 6-6 Gary, 6-10 Milicic, 6-10 Morgan & 6-9 Kyle. Lots of flexibility and all of them except for Kyle are threats from 3. I like adding the shot blocking of Kyle and/or Milicic since Mast doesn't seem to be able to jump over a phone book.

A thought I’ve had recently is can we project a certain level of improved athletic ability from Mast? He’s not going to be elite. But can we expect an upgrade there for him?

We *might* have the room, but we definitely don't have the minutes. You already have Mast and Morgan - how would you add Milicic and Kyle and have enough PT for everyone? If we 2 spots remaining, you take either Milicic or Kyle and then a younger, depth guy that you can develop for the future. We already can go like 9 deep - Worster, Williams, Gary, Mast, Morgan, Griffith, Ulis, Essegian and Hoiberg. Both Milicic or Kyle are looking at starting roles here and Hoiberg will likely see considerably less playing time next year, but how do you add both? Who else gets bumped?

That’s the part that still pains me. You can handle their athleticism if they don’t shoot well. You can’t if they go like 60% from 3.

These Omaha boys will go coast to coast to avoid playing in Lincoln. Wouldn't surprise me at this point if most Omaha HSers just start turning pro in Latvia to avoid helping Nebraska
