You're picking Nebraska to win and I'm picking Cockeye LOL
Now Kiss Adventure Time GIF

Phil Parker is going to have bracket coverage following Jacory Barney everywhere he goes on the field. Neyor and Banks are going to have to win the single coverage battles. Cockeye's outside corners (Jermari Harris and Deshaun Lee) are serviceable but not spectacular. We need Lindenmeyer/Bork/Fidone to be dependable in the intermediate game.

I'm not worried about their run defense, I think EJ and Dowdell will have good games. Our OL has gotten, dare I say, elite at pass blocking in the last few weeks. I'm not worried about their pass rush. Cockeye doesn't have 4 NFL players on the DL like years past.

Defensively, the Cockeyes' receivers stink. They are the worst WR unit we have seen all season besides Northern Cockeye. Kaleb Johnson & Kamari Moulton are two good backs, however the only defense better than us that they played this year (OSU) squashed them like an ant. We need Nash and Ty to be immoveable objects at the LOS like they have all season. We need Sherm, Gbayor, Bullock and Shavers to be free flowing & smashing the ballcarrier like they have all year.

Let us bow our heads & pray that Gifford, Hartzog and Buford are not barbecue chicken.

If our passing game gets going:

38-17 Nebraska

If our wideouts get strapped & Kaleb Johnson breaks some big runs:

23-13 Cockeye

I really want to pick the upset but winning at Kinnick at night in the freezing cold - I think that's a tall order.

I think it's gonna be a low scoring slog of a game, the kind of game where we always seem to end up on the short end of the stick. I will be there, freezing my dingleberries off.

23-19 Hawks

Jermari Harris isn't playing on Friday.
