So many passing plays are Raiola looking downfield for too long, scrambling to his right, and throwing it away.

Give him some quick outs, slants, short crossers, etc to get things moving. It seems they are dead set on the deep ball but nothing is there.

This has been painful to watch.

If he wasn’t making the rumored 2mil a year I would feel bad for him. He should have gone somewhere else.

They need to pull every penny he’s making and reinvest it elsewhere.
He’s not worth much in the open market anyways now

You have a true freshman who can’t read a defense and teams aren’t afraid of. They are just loading the box and rushing Raiola and banking on him being unable to find the open man quickly

That’s usually where I blame the OC & his inability to coach his scheme. Simplify & it’s usually easier for a young kid to understand his progressions vs having a big playbook, throwing a bunch of random shit at him like his a vet.

If ur qb audibles to screens all game then I think it’s safe to blame it on the system & not the player.

Because they have a better OC than ours. Good OC's can develop plays where the WR's get open.

Ours at Nebraska will never do that.
