A good buddy of mine back East is a big Purdoodoo fan and played under Painter at Southern Illinois and a current friend of mine here in Memphis played at Purdoodoo. Here are some of their combined takes:

-Neither was even mad. We just outplayed/hustled them.

-Outside of Edey they have no other big men. It’s Edey and a bunch of guards.

-Too many turnovers by Purdoodoo. At one point late in the second half the turnover margin for Purdoodoo was +6.

-Hot shooting + hostile home crowd = win every time
