Tom Fornelli is ripping Dylan to shreds on the Cover 3 live show. Talking about how Dylan always throws the “fancy” stuff, and never steps into his throws.

He makes a decent point about how Nebraska is allowing it to happen, and not demanding his mechanics improve.
Bud Elliott says that at times it looks like he’s not trying.
Dylan is VERY nonchalant at times.
Bud Elliott is a Nebraska hater. For every “expert” criticizing Raiola, there’s another praising him. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
Then of course the 0-28 against ranked teams is brought up. And Rhule being 2-23 against ranked teams.

I think Dylan is coached to not turn the ball over is part of it. Also to take underneath open stuff instead of forcing more dangerous stuff. Our shorter passing game is basically taking the place of a more prominent running game.
He should step into his throws more, but his arm strength is not a problem. He's got a strong arm, he is just more of a touch passer by preference I think. He can slide the ball into tight spaces well when he wants. He also is good at throwing to open spots, where receivers are going to be out of their cuts. He's got a lot of strengths. Biggest weakness is lack of mobility, obviously. He's a really good QB though, all things considered. Not perfect, and still lots of room to improve.

Yes but you seem to be overly obsessed with what these two are saying. Just saying if it bothers you that much, turn it off. As long as there is college football, there will always be so called experts.

I truly think he was/is here for one reason and one reason only. Don’t think anyone can convince me otherwise. Will be interesting to see what happens there after next year (or hell after this year if god forbid Dylan hits the portal).
The Fornelli take was a bit lazy.
