Thanks man, will give that a try! I use an Nvidia Shield (best one available), which allows installation of almost any app. Which means I can install actual browsers which allow going to any website. Tvapp.whatever it is I have on my Puffin browser app. So that is my final option as I know I can get the game that way, but the quality will likely not be great. Will check out that YT link!


I have the app installed, was going to do the free trial if I can't get the game on the CBS app, which will show my live TV with my Dish login.

I don't know if this will work for you or not, since you said you have a SmartTV and I don't know if that's Android based or not, but this works great on our Firesticks.

Watched the video. I don't have a firestick, but Firestick is android, and I believe I can do/install those same apps on my unlocked Nvidia Shield. All of my devices, including the Shield, I always enable developer options to be able to install any app I want. I am going to try to find the apps this guy in the video suggested and see if I can DL them and install.

Yeah, if you have a Nvidia Shield, you should be golden. The 2 apps that I use the most from his video (he's super slow, like he's talking to a 5 year old, so definitely watch it on 2x speed) are Sports Fire and SportsX. I've pretty much been able to find any game (NFL, MLB, college) there and it's been a good a solid stream.

Montana. So the local affiliate is out of Bozeman, so they always show the Montana St games instead of whatever the national brodacast game is. I don't live in Bozeman but close enough that they are my local affiliate.

On a side note, the local affiliates have in the past actually overidden national broadcast Husker games for..... fucking infomercials. It has been quite a few years since this happened, but a fucking informercial instead of a nat broadcast game? GTFO with that shit. I was pissed enough that I started calling and emailing the station, finally got the station manager on the phone. Fucking dude told me he was "just giving the local customers what they wanted to watch". Sure, asshole, people actually want to watch your fucking hours long infomercial. Asshole. I may have not been the only one calling the station, as I don't remember this happening again after I had called/emailed to complain about it. Not one fucking person WANTS to watch an infomercial, well maybe an octo bluehair, but they don't know WTF they are doing half the time anyway.

I like the freedom to do what I want with my devices, and the Shield is GREAT for that. I can DL and install any app I want. It also has two USB ports, so any DL'd movie/etc I have I can just load onto the USB storage sticks and those movies/etc are there anytime without need to stream them. Love it.
