I was talking to Waterboy at dinner tonight about how you always hear “B1G road games are hard to come by no matter who you are.” Do crowds matter? Sure. Do friendly rims matter? Sure. But the biggest thing that I see making B1G road games disproportionately difficult is that the shitty league refs have thin skin and let crowd noise dictate how they call the game.
 
Big 10 basketball is unwatchable. if home teams have a far better record than any other sport, you have to consider the possibility that the home teams are getting an advantage with the officiating. I get that we get some benefit at home too, but it's a joke of a sport
