Jaren Kanak from Hays High in Kansas went 10.66 yesterday. Would like to see Nebraska land that kid. He’s a heck of an athlete

Definitely easier to find a replacement recruit for Meyers than Kanak. The latter is a pretty unique athlete, especially being so close to Lincoln.

Vs us he played WR his sophomore year. Then played a wildcat qb against us last year in the regular season (because of some players having to sit out) and in the playoffs they had moved him back to WR and he was playing defense.

I have heard OLB, he doesn’t have a ton of film there. He was criminally under utilized at WR and when he showed up on a Friday night vs us and played wildcat QB it was a nightmare. He ran for like 210 on us. FWIW their full time QB is a d1 baseball kid committed to Tennessee

We were glad (and a little confused) to see him back at WR for the playoffs.

Sounds like Nebraska is in a good spot with Gavin Meyer, Kanaks teammate. Hopefully that helps. K State I assume is a factor as well.
